Why are we fundraising?

Funding for the arts has widely been cut since the beginning of 2025. Spanish Broom has experienced the ripple effect of those cuts, as we deal with the consequences of losing state and federal funding. We work to make our performances free and accessible to the community while continuing to pay artists fairly for their work.

Our goal with this raffle is to raise enough money to produce at least two more free performances to the public in 2025. We believe in the power of our community and will continue to create a space where we can come together to share and support each other through art.
